About this Neighbors Care Program

Mission Statement:

Our goal is to help our older Civano neighbors live independently in their own home as long as possible.

Volunteers vs Recipients

Civano residents can be involved in multiple ways. You might be a volunteer that wants to help your Civano neighbors with transportation, friendly visits, help around their home, etc. As a recipient of services, you might be an older resident that would like some help & support to stay in your own home in our lovely neighborhood as long as possible. Or you could be both, volunteer helping in little ways and receiving help when your life circumstances require it.

Neighbors might be willing to provide some of the following home help.

Home Help

Light housekeeping
Providing meals
Light yard work
Sewing repairs
Laundry
Electronics help
Minor repairs
Dog walking during medical procedure recovery
