Trash & Recycling

Trash & Recycling

Trash and Recycle services

Trash pick up day is Tuesday (except when there is a holiday on Monday, then it is on Wednesday). Recycle pickup is every other Tuesday. Please put bins out the morning of pickup, If you put the trash bins out the night before, you risk the bins being knocked over and the trash scattered everywhere by roaming Javelinas (wild pigs) during the night.

For more information about Tucson's Trash & Recycling Program, click here.

Twice a year, usually in April and October, the City of Tucson has what  is called  "Brush & Bulky" pickup.  Items need to put out by the Monday of the week our area is scheduled.  Items are picked up by the City of Tucson sometime during that week.

To see what the City of Tucson will pick up during the "Brush & Bulky" one week  in both April and October, click the action button below see a list (PDF document).
